On August 23, 2022, our Board of Directors approved amendments to the Dollar General Corporation Code of Business Conduct and Ethics to reflect changes resulting from the adoption of the Company’s Political Spending Policy, as well as to reflect various other technical, administrative or non-substantive revisions. The amendments became effective on August 23, 2022, and are reflected in the document posted below.

On December 2, 2020, our Board of Directors approved amendments to the Dollar General Corporation Code of Business Conduct and Ethics (the “Code”) to reflect various technical, administrative or non-substantive revisions. These amendments became effective on December 2, 2020 and are reflected in the Code posted below.

2020 Code of Business Conduct and Ethics

On December 4, 2019, our Board of Directors approved amendments to the Dollar General Corporation Code of Business Conduct and Ethics (the “Code”) to more thoroughly address the existing duty to protect our customers’ confidential and personal information, as well as to reflect various other technical, administrative or non-substantive revisions. These amendments became effective on December 4, 2019 and are reflected in the Code posted below.

Code of Business Conduct and Ethics (December 4, 2019 – December 1, 2020)

On November 29, 2018, our Board of Directors approved amendments to the Dollar General Corporation Code of Business Conduct and Ethics (the “Code”) to provide additional precautions to help avoid potential cybersecurity scams, as well as to reflect various other technical, administrative or non-substantive revisions. These amendments became effective on April 1, 2019 and are reflected in the Code posted below.

2019 Code of Business Conduct and Ethics

On December 5, 2017, our Board of Directors approved amendments to the Dollar General Corporation Code of Business Conduct and Ethics (the “Code”) to clarify the conditions under which an employee cannot be held liable for misappropriating a trade secret, to remind employees of their annual obligation to review our company’s Information Security Policy and to follow our company’s security measures when using our technology, and to clarify the approval requirements for public presentations about our company, as well as to reflect various other technical, administrative or non-substantive revisions. These amendments became effective on April 2, 2018 and are reflected in the Code posted below.

In addition, on November 29, 2018, our Board of Directors approved amendments to the Code to provide additional precautions to help avoid potential cybersecurity scams, as well as to reflect various other technical, administrative or non-substantive revisions. These amendments will not become effective until April 1, 2019, at which time the revised Code will be posted to this website.
