Major retailer recruits candidates through nationwide hiring fairs
GOODLETTSVILLE, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--
To support its strong growth and fill current vacancies, Dollar General
(NYSE: DG) is planning to hire 10,000 new employees in May for its store
and distribution center locations. Career fairs to recruit candidates
will be held throughout the month in the 40 states the company serves.

On Saturday, May 18, Dollar General will host a national hiring fair at
approximately 170 locations for available store employment opportunities
in the 40 states it serves. Hiring fairs at the company’s distribution
centers will be held throughout the month.
Further, Dollar General will participate in Florida’s Paychecks for
Patriots hiring events for military veterans and their families on
Friday, May 10 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Held at 10 Florida Regional
Workforce Board Centers throughout the state, this initiative matches
companies with immediate job vacancies in Florida with veterans and
their families seeking employment as they return to civilian life or
explore other career opportunities.
