This document was amended effective April 3, 2017 to reflect technical, administrative or non-substantive revisions.

In addition, on December 5, 2017, our Board of Directors approved amendments to the Dollar General Corporation Code of Business Conduct and Ethics (the “Code”) to clarify the conditions under which an employee cannot be held liable for misappropriating a trade secret, to remind employees of their annual obligation to review our company’s Information Security Policy and to follow our company’s security measures when using our technology, and to clarify the approval requirements for public presentations about our company, as well as to reflect various other technical, administrative or non-substantive revisions. These amendments will not become effective until April 2, 2018, at which time the revised Code will be posted to this website.

2017 Code of Business Conduct and Ethics

This document was amended effective April 1, 2016 to reflect various technical, administrative and non-substantive revisions designed to clarify existing provisions, reflect administrative changes within the Company and update other administrative details.

On April 17, 2015, the Board of Directors of Dollar General Corporation approved amendments to the Dollar General Code of Business Conduct and Ethics (the "Code") to make certain clarifying amendments reflected in the 2015 Code posted below.

On March 19, 2014, the Board of Directors of Dollar General Corporation approved amendments to the Dollar General Code of Business Conduct and Ethics (the "Code") to make certain clarifying and technical amendments reflected in the 2014 Code posted below.

2014 Code of Business Conduct and Ethics (3/19/14-4/16/15)

On December 5, 2012, Dollar General Corporation amended its Code to clarify that vendors may provide airfare and lodging for employees in connection with business-related meetings if appropriate approvals are received and to make certain other clarifying and technical amendments as reflected in the Code posted below.
